Have you ever worked a satellite with your ht? Well what are you waiting for! Talk on Oscar AO-27 LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite with your ht FM mode. Oscar's orbit is approx. every 90 minutes. Northern Hemisphere about 30 deg up. If you can hear it you can talk on it. It's as simple as that.
